In December 2025, we held our general meeting with new elections to the Executive Board.
We are very pleased that Markus Walke was re-elected Chairman of the MIT of the CDU Meerbusch. The new deputy chairman will strengthen the Utkan Armutlu our Board of Directors. Also re-elected were Dr Harald von Canstein. Gabor Hacsi, Thomas Kuth, Noah Mihan-Nejad, Daniel Tywissen and Hans-Peter Vossen were elected as assessors.
The actions of the Executive Board were unanimously approved at the meeting. In addition to the formal points, it was an all-round successful, convivial evening with many stimulating conversations and an informative exchange. Together, we looked back on the events of 2025 and looked ahead to 2026.
Numerous dates and projects are already being planned for the coming year. As every year, these include the Entrepreneur Award of the Year. Due to the very positive response, we would also like to present the Apprentice speed dating which has proved to be a great success. In addition, a working group „Digitisation in the SME sector“ and a working group „Sustainable entrepreneurs in Meerbusch“ is planned. Another highlight will of course be our 2026 summer festival.
